Narrative Description of Project: The overall objective of the NDBMP was to further develop and disseminate domestic biogas in rural areas with ultimate goal to establish a sustainable and commercial biogas sector in Bangladesh. In line with the key expected results as identified in the original plan, the NDBMP needs to undertake users’ survey at the field level time to time in order to evaluate and monitor its performance and achievement of the key indicators of the program.\nThe survey was making a comprehensive assessment through measuring important direct and indirect benefits, assessing various impact of biogas technology on energy, emission reduction and environment, health and sanitation, agriculture system, evaluating its technical soundness, identifying socio economic effects, climate change and workload of women and children, and finally measuring socio-economic results on the users.
